Wind-powered X-Mas Lights

Font Size » Large | Small

I was installing the Christmas lights on the shop as it is the most visible building on our hill, when I thought, why not plug them into the inverter?

It doesn't feel like December, as it was around 70 degrees today, nevertheless, after I worked around my dying father's bedside today, I managed to get their XMas lights up, trying to get the season cheer level up a bit over there, then I came home and it was still warm enough to put up ours in the dark. Pretty cool looking though.

This is the north side of my shop, showing the stuccoed SIP (structural Insulated panel) wall, my super duper twin cylinder air compressor, and the leaning water catchment tank.

This is the West side, doors off, mom's busted Blazer, which after the bad news about my poor old biodiesel Isuzu Trooper (it died) I guess I will be fixing her car to use as my work truck this Winter while I figure what my next plan is.  See: http://outfitnm.com/2010/12/14/bmn-more-trouble-than-a-barrel-of-monkeys for the story

Not quite in focus, and I tried to click the camera but that one string kept blinking and not showing up. Silly blinkers
