Turbine Blades

Above is a sample of a Solidworks 3D CAD design we are working on

Building of the blades was done for us by local craftsman Louie Pagge

We did the finish work

Jackson applies a thin coat of custom blended  Varathane, linseed oil and mineral spirits

Lots of discussion goes on while we work on this process. Discussion  is  important because we not only learn from each other as we go, but one of Jack’s questions was, "Which side is the leading edge?" I decided while he was doing the work on this aspect, I got the book by Dan Bartman and Dan Fink, from Otherpower.com Home Brewed Wind Power, and read the first section over again.
