Chap 8 – Grace to you, and peace

This was my final Sermon preached for the two rural churches I was serving.  What I wanted to stress here was the blessings that I had received in the course of my relationship with them.  I wasn’t really their ‘minister’, but I tried to ‘minister’ to them through my sermons.

It was also more or less a milestone in my own life.  I had just clocked-up 90 yrs (If I had known I was going to live so long, I would have taken better care of myself.).  Clara and I had been married for 65 yrs (which is longer than many people live).

This was an important phase of my life.
