This sermon requires that we bring the Rational Brain into play.
What do we do with a passage that doesn’t make sense to the Rational Brain? We may have to tear down some ancient ideas, but it is better to do that (in my opinion) than to hold onto such nebulous ideas.
I never promised you that I was going to become king and restore the Kingdom to Israel.
