BMN Jackson’s Trench

Good Morning
My first pic this morning was shot last evening on my way home from work. The little camera phone does well with the fast moving shots. Love the clouds. Anyway, this is the side of the lake that still has some water, although not much. The land you see across the water for most of the four decades I've lived here has been merely a little island which recently had a couple trees. Now, the island is the far bank of the lake

(Jack's-house-septic) The septic system construction at my brother's house. I got to hand it to him, he's lived with only an outhouse for forty years. Now that our parent's house is shut down he doesn't have a place to shower. So this will be a needed modernization for his place.

(Storie-lake-7-25-12) I decided I'd mix up the pictures this morning. Here we are again crossing the dam above Storie Lake. Do I post too many images?

Jackson-Septic-trench-7-25-12  All right, there is the guy now. He and his helper were down in the ditch last evening when I got home. They have the four inch pipe which will connect to the house. I'll help them today get the pipe laid out on the bank and glue it, then roll it in.

trench-at-Jacks-7-25-2012  It is a good looking trench; narrow deep and with a great drop.

(State-Police-bunker) It really irritates me that the government spends millions if not billions on these police compounds. I was trying to ignore this monstrosity on the hill next to KFUN radio station, then they went and built this huge tank for god only knows what purpose out in front of a bunker that would have Saddam Hussein proud.

The tank makes a thinking man wonder; is this water storage, for helping Las Vegan's in times of emergency? This seems extremely naive. If so, why not let the citizens know to what purpose a bunker and fluid storage tank serve. Conspiracy theories are running wild in my mind and fuggin' "A" I hope these are errant thoughts. Maybe the Red Dawn threat is real, and we need protection. I just hope we don't need protection from the State Police, cause damn they now have an army style fort on the hill, with a vantage over Vegas. Watch your back's people.
