Good Morning
I will just get on with the picture-show

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-NY-Pizza

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-NY-Pizza  Thanks to Santino from JC's NY Pizza we ate delicious hot  pizzas all afternoon. OMG they were good. Santino said, just in case you're wondering, "I can't wait to bake pizzas in the Tusas Horno."

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Central-Meadow-Fun

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Central-Meadow-Fun. We had a fine turnout for the work party. On the right is Aaron Jaurros' Big Toes DJ setup, unfortunately the power inverter hasn't arrived and we didn't have a generator for power, sadly we didn't get to hear Reggae Music. Sorry Aaron and Beth, it's the thought that counts.

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Horno

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Horno – I decided to work on the lettering after the dust settled so to speak. Again tooting my own horn, I successfully did not smoke all weekend, hence the little extra efforts on projects.

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Horno-Tiedye

Pre-Tusas-Work-Party-Horno-Tie-dye  Doing tie-dying back in the woods felt very right. We're still going to do silk-screening. Sara's design is on a screen and there at Jack's house. This week we have plans for sign making as well as inking Tusas Tee-shirts. Jackson as usual is hosting the inking at his house. If you are interested in participating can Jack at 505-454-8034.

Really the only disappointment this weekend was learning the cherished Tusas waterfall effects light was damaged at some point since we last used it two years ago at Tusas. I did lend it out, so I suppose I'll take responsibility as the person that borrowed it choose not to mention that it was dropped.

Regardless of that minor lameness everything else was totally good. Several camp sites were cleaned and prepared for campfires. We are only going to approve campfires in campsites that have been cleaned to prevent forest fires. So if your group hopes to have a campfire at your camp, you have all week to get after it. I am certain you could hire someone to prepare your camp, although it is more fun to come out and visit and get your hands dirty.
This is going to be a really good camp.

I'm going to work my normal days this week except for Friday. If you need to contact me, my mobile # 505-659-1375. Cell phones don't work back in the woods. We'll try and have Desertgate Internet back there. I can see how cool it will be to Facebook pics from our smart-phones on site at Tusas.
I'll of course keep you updated all week long.
Yours truly, Brian Rodgers
