Ah shoot I had text written and my computer locked up, probably the hard drive finally giving out
Right now I am on our living-room PC and time is running out as I have to get ready for work.
The first images show a flume on the Sapello acequia which dad and I helped build back in 1974

The puppies jumped in the cold river because there was a lone calf and the dogs thought they were hot shit. Soon the calf was out of harms way and the dogs were submerged in the cold water
I hope a lot of pictures don't need too many words. These are out of order, something I would fix if I had more time
So much water, I hope the snow pack holds up for a couple more months
Something about water is so soothing. If I didn't need to be here I would go someplace like Minnesota where there are lakes everywhere. Tired of these droughts
Pirate in the river. Notice the good work of the local beavers.
The cows are also cleaning up the willows near the river. I need to figure out a way to localize and isolate the cattle watering zone
We've looked at this barn from a distance for 40 years as it is in our view of the Sapello valley. I don't recall ever going up and looking in it before
Neither Cordova's country house or barn are plastered adobes.
It is amazing that the walls are still standing with nothing left of the adobe mortar. The rock foundation is also mud mortared which means the foundation is a pile of perfectly dry-stacked rocks
What can I add to this image. Everyone loves barn wood
Okally dokally folks I am past my prime time
I almost have the new hard drive ready to go in the BMN PC. The decision of whether to clone the old drive may have been made for me with its apparent demise this morning. So I lose some passwords and bookmarks and email stuff, no big deal. I've been trying to get more people moved over to the Website for years, perhaps this will do it
Y'all have a great weekend

Hmm that's http://www.kakapo.net/en/
Who owns the barn, Brian? Never seen a beaver before, we don't have 'em here. Instead we have kiwi! http://kiwifoundation.org.nz/northlandkiwi.html which are endangered. There's also the interesting kakapo which is critically endangered. http://www.kakapo.net/en/ They make a booming sound. If you google kakapo you will get a lot of really good pics.
Old man Cordova owns the barn and cabin. He lives in Albuquerque comes down once or twice per year
Hmmmm…never seen a beaver
