BMN Monday

Brian’s Morning Newsletter for June 8th 2009

I will be closing the BMN Google group soon so please go to the forum instead http://outfitnm.com/forum
Good Morning
As you can see from the statement above  the BMN Google group is going to end soon. We would appreciate it if everyone would try it out. http://outfitnm.com/forum
I added directly 10 or 15 names from the BMN GG. I will move you all over there before long and the names that went first were chosen alphabetically, and I ran out of time before I got to the end, so please don’t take it personally if you didn’t make the grade on the first run. The forum is called Simple Machines Forum it appears to be functioning perfectly, we have Adam Caldwell to thank for this. Now from what I gather from the direct registration information provided by SMF it should have sent those people I registered a password. If you didn’t get a message please email me at brodgers@outfitnm.com.

So, now that we have that important piece of business out of the way let me show you what totally cool and absolutely amazing stuff has been happening around here.

I left Kevin at Louie’s shop on Friday where he was loading up the bad-ass CAD model for a wind turbine blade onto Louie’s new computer controlled wood router, aka CNC router.

Nice rig, huh?

After working all week to get Kevin setup all legal like he packed his bags so to speak.

I asked Kevin how much horse power his 1100 cc engine develops. Answer: 160HP! Jesus, that’s more than the 6 cylinder Cummings 5.9 ci turbo charged diesel that is in the truck I’m trying to buy.

Nell sports Austin’s pimp hat while posing with Murf jr. at his departure Saturday morning.

I think we can all agree that Kevin indeed does have the mad crazy computer engineering skilz.

Once things cool down around here I’ll be posting plenty of images of the new wooden wind turbine blades made on the CNC router.

Things will be cooling down around here without Kevin. He was a huge help with all the insane projects I came up to work on up here at Las Tusas Ranch.

What can I say? He is one cool cat, that Murphy man.

So yeah, now things slow down. I’ll be working by myself for a while. Where can a guy go to amuse himself? It turns out I love to bake.  This is the second pizza I made here at the house since learning how to make pizza dough for the Tusas Campo.

Bummer huh?

Want some?

See ya, hehehe
